This is not the day
for Eulogies.
Today in 2005
Sixty angels took flight
And I prayed vehemently for Kechi's life.
Five years on
It still seems like yesterday
Kechi lives, but the scars remain,
few on her body
But many more on her mind.
And while we all remember, some remember more than most.
And in all honestly
None of us will ever really forget.
